From ancient castles and Georgian mansions to rugged Highlands and scenic islands, experience some of the British Isles’ most picturesque cities and landscapes. Depart London for Scotland’s lovely capital, Edinburgh, and see the medieval castle that dominates its skyline. Sail to Invergordon and experience the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, followed by the Orkney Islands, where some of Britain’s best-preserved prehistoric monuments reside. Take in the dramatic scenery of the Isle of Skye, where the oldest inhabited castle awaits, before heading to Belfast in Northern Ireland, a city filled with splendid Victorian and Edwardian buildings.
