Depart Rome and travel south to arrive at the famous Amalfi coast which dazzles with its stunning coastline set along the rugged mountains from Sorrento to Salerno. Marvel at spectacular changing vistas of land, seascapes and charming villages with brightly colored boats resting in small harbors. Positano, once a sleepy fishing village, is now a popular resort town perched upon steep, seaside slopes offering amazing views. Spend two nights in historic Sorrento. Another highlight is an optional excursion to Capri, an island made famous for its Blue Grotto. Return to Rome with a visit en route to the legendary archaeological site of Pompeii. The following morning depart Rome for your home city.

Orvieto
Discover the charms of Orvieto perched on a volcanic plateau. This enchanting city is well-known for its white wine, finest olive oil and variety of handcrafts. Its quaint streets are lined with colorful ceramic products and wrought ironware. Explore the medieval Duomo, among the greatest of Italian Romanesque-Gothic cathedrals. Lunch is included in the unique and exclusive setting of a 19th-century opera theater, exquisitely decorated and furnished.

Florence Delights
Best known as the "Cradle of the Italian Renaissance," Florence is a city with overwhelming historical and cultural significance. Take a walking tour of the city center and take in the magnificent Cathedral, its huge dome and elegant Campanile piercing the sky.
