PORTS OF CALL

CIVITAVECCHIA (ROME), ITALY: Amore comes alive in Italy's "Eternal City," home of more romance, art, history and architectural marvels than any one person can absorb.

TUNIS, TUNISIA : Tunis' whitewashed, shuttered buildings hide a treasure trove of Ottoman art. Inspect manuscripts from the Koran, follow the twists and turns of the old inner city, and marvel at the ornate Palace of Dar Ben Abdallah and a mosque, whose 184 columns were 'recycled' from the ruins of Carthage.

VALLETTA, MALTA : Also known as "The Fortress City," the Knights of St. John headquartered here in 1530. Don't miss St. John's Cathedral and the Grand Master's Palace. In this city you'll enjoy excellent shopping, avant-garde art, and more.

CORFU, GREECE: The greenest Greek island, Corfu welcomes you with its impressive lush landscapes. Head to Paleokastritsa, site of a 13th century monastery, or walk the streets of historic Corfu Town, whose architecture reflects the island's colorful history from Byzantine churches to Venetian fortresses.

BRINDISI, ITALY: Brindisi is an ancient crusader port at the end of the historic trading route that stretches back to Rome, called the Appian Way. See Romanesque churches and a 13th century castle while exploring this port city seeped in Roman history.

DUBROVNIK, CROATIA : This ancient city is set on a peninsula and surrounded by a 1,000-year-old wall. Dubrovnik preserves a wealth of art and architecture within its churches, museums and palaces while cafés and shops have been cleverly woven into the walls of this living, breathing, working city.

VENICE, ITALY : Venice is possibly the most romantic place you'll ever visit. Take in the cafés of St. Mark's Square, palazzo-lined canals plied by gondolas, the elegant Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore.
