Slovenia's Postojna Caves & Lipica
Today, travel to Slovenia and the natural miracle of Postojna, a series of underground caverns, gorges, rivers and multicolored karst formations, dating back some 4 million years. Continue to the nearby famous stud farm of Lipica, established by the Habsburg Archduke in 1580. Admire the graceful performance of these finest riding horses and enjoy the peaceful setting of this oasis of linden trees.
Wonders of Krk Island
Journey along the Croatian coast to Krk, the largest island in the Adriatic. From Punat, take a taxi boat to the islet of Kosljun to visit an 11th century Franciscan monastery.
