Copenhagen & Stockholm

In the seventeenth century Queen Christina of Sweden is quoted as saying, "It is necessary to try to surpass one's self always, this occupation ought to last as long as life." Few things evolve one like travel - and few things are as beautiful as a trip to Scandinavia. Go where Hans Christian Andersen was inspired to write his timeworn fairy tales. Copenhagen is indeed like slipping into the pages of a storybook, from the mermaid who welcomes you to the magical Tivoli Gardens, glittering with music and lights. It's a city bursting with life and culture and a sure way to surpass one's experiences. Go where a city sits on 14 islands and bewitches everyone who passes through. Stockholm is often called the "Venice of the North" for its waterways and stunning vistas. It is one of Europe's most splendid cities, dotted with gorgeous palaces, gardens, charming courtyards and narrow winding streets.
