Medieval Montage
Discover the beauty of Scandinavia on this ten-night journey aboard Oceania Cruises’ Marina. From Copenhagen to Stockholm, this voyage packs in the history and culture of ten countries who traded borders throughout the centuries. Hop on a historic train ride through the German countryside, or see the Berlin Wall. Head into Gdańsk where the Museum of the Second World War is second to none and the waterfront cafés are the perfect spot for a pierogi nosh.
From Klaipėda to Riga to Tallinn, get a taste of Baltic heritage: old Lithuanian fishing villages, grand boulevards of German Art Nouveau buildings, artisans working amber, and winding walks through moody medieval streetscapes. Spend two days in Helsinki for must-see modern architecture and souvenir snapshots at the open-air market. Before bidding farewell to Marina, explore iconic Swedish landmarks, such as the Royal Opera House, as you traverse the watery, urban wonderland that is Stockholm.

Visa Requirements
Guests who purchase their shore excursions or sponsored overland programs through Oceania Cruises are covered by a blanket visa for the duration of the tour. The blanket visa does not cover any independent travel in Russia outside of the shore excursion and overland programs. Guests must remain with the tour group at all times and will not be able to remain ashore once the excursion or overland program has been completed. There are no additional requirements or applications that guests will need to provide.
As a reminder, Oceania Cruises does not provide visa support letters for independent visa applications. Guests who wish to explore Russia on their own must obtain Russian visas in advance of their cruise departure. It is the guest’s sole responsibility to comply with the necessary visa requirements and ensure a blanket Russian visa is included with any independently arranged shore tours. Guests without visas will not be allowed to disembark as per Russian government restrictions.
The Russian Federation grants one-time entry and double-entry tourist visas. One-time entry visas allow guests to cross the Russian state border once. The passport control zone (or gangway) at the cruise terminal is considered the Russian state border for cruise ship guests. Once a guest goes ashore and returns to the ship, it is considered one entry and the one-time visa is closed and invalid. Guests holding double-entry visas are able to go ashore a second time. The Russian Federation also offers the option of a three year multiple-entry visa to U.S. nationals.
