Step off Nautica and into the vibrant heart of Hong Kong’s Western District to begin a full‑day exploration of this culturally rich and historic area. Stroll through the traditional herbal medicine market, where long‑established shops showcase age‑old remedies and aromatic ingredients. Continue to the historic Man Mo Temple, admired for its ornate architecture and iconic incense coils. Ride the famous Peak Tram to Victoria Peak for sweeping views of the city and harbor, then travel to Aberdeen Harbor for a sampan ride through its storied fishing community. Midday, enjoy an included dim sum lunch at a local restaurant, offering a delicious taste of classic Cantonese cuisine. After lunch, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, begin a full‑day tour to Lantau Island, starting with a scenic ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. Explore this important spiritual site before visiting the majestic Tian Tan Buddha—also known as the Big Buddha—one of Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks. This tour can involve walking on mostly uneven ground and occasionally stairs, some with no handrails. Travelers should be able to board a coach or tour bus independently. This tour is not recommended for those with a walker or wheelchair. Travelers should be able to enter and exit a small boat and cable car with little to no assistance.
