Does my association/travel club benefit when I travel with Go Next?

Yes! A portion of your fare goes to support your group.

And no matter where you want to go, you can support your group through your travel. Here are three ways to give back to your group and still get Go Next travel support:

Have a trip outside of your group in mind? You can still get support from Go Next and support your group:

How many Go Next Program Managers are available on a given trip?

The number of Go Next Program Managers on a trip varies depending on the number of Go Next travelers.

Is there an after-hours emergency call service for Go Next?

Yes, a Go Next employee is on call and available the day of departure.

How long has Go Next been partnered with Oceania Cruises?

Go Next has partnered with Oceania Cruises since 2009.

How long has Go Next been partnered with American Queen Voyages?

Go Next has partnered with AQV since 2012.

What are the Go Next hours of operation?

Oceania Cruises FAQs

What is charged for gratuities?

Oceania Cruises’ recommended amount of $18 per person, per day, will automatically be billed to your room. However, you can change the amount when you are on board. For bookings in the PH suites and above, $23 per person, per day, will be automatically billed.

Can mobile phones be used on board?

Yes, but data-service and roaming charges may apply. Please check with your phone carrier to see what is covered and what they recommend for an international package if you are traveling abroad.

What passport requirements are there?

All passengers are required to have a passport that is valid for six months beyond the conclusion of the trip. This is a precaution in case of an unforeseen circumstance, such as a medical emergency that would require you to stay in the port longer than planned.

Are there medical services on board?

Each ship is equipped with limited medical facilities and staffed by international medical personnel. Customary emergency room fees and charges do apply for medical services.

Can wine be brought on board?

Guests can bring six bottles of wine per stateroom on board at the beginning of the sailing. Any additional purchases made during the cruise at any of the ports will be held for you until the end of the cruise. A corkage fee of $25 will be applied.

What benefits do guests get when booking the Concierge Level rooms?

Concierge Level room guests get priority check-in, along with the services of a dedicated concierge, unlimited access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace, free laundry service (limited to 3 bags with 20 items per bag), and the luxury of ordering room service from the Grand Dining Room during lunch and dinner.

What benefits do guests get when booking Penthouse Suites?

In addition to all concierge-level features, guests booking Penthouse Suite and above get 24-hour butler service, priority luggage delivery, in-suite evening canapés, course-by-course in-suite dining, and room service from any specialty restaurant. Guests also receive coordination of shore-side dinner and entertainment reservations, and packing and unpacking upon request. Guests booking Penthouse Suites and above on Marina and Riviera also gain exclusive access to the private Executive Lounge.

If guests don’t go on a shore excursion, can they still get transferred from port to town?

Yes, there are transfers to the city center for some, but not all, ports of call. A list of ports with a complimentary shuttle into town will be provided on board.

When participating in multiple shore excursions at a port, how much time is needed between them?

Oceania Cruises recommends at least 75 minutes between shore excursions.

What is the electric power voltage on board?

The power voltage is 2-110, 2-220 AC, which can be used for battery chargers, razors, etc.

If an airport-to-ship transfer was purchased through Oceania Cruises, what can guests expect after landing?

For domestic trips: Guests will meet a representative in the baggage claim area; look for an Oceania Cruises sign.

For international trips: Upon arrival, go to baggage claim to collect your luggage. Once you come through immigration/customs, exit the main arrival hall and look for an Oceania Cruises sign.

Are there laundry services on board?

Yes. The guest launderette is available to use free of charge. Facilities are available from 7AM to 10PM every day. Alternatively, the cruise line can do your laundry for a fee.

American Queen FAQs

What is charged for gratuities?

Gratuities on AQV are $19.50 per person, per night. An average trip is eight days and seven nights, so the gratuities would be $129.50 per person. Gratuities cover all of the services providers on board (e.g., cabin steward, dining room attendants). An additional 15% gratuity is added to alcohol purchases.

Are there medical services on board?

There is an EMT on board. In case of emergency, 911 is called, the boat is stopped, and the guest in need is transported to the nearest hospital.

Can I bring my own alcohol on board?

AQV serves wine and spirits on the vessel. Passengers are not allowed to bring wine or spirits on board the vessel with them at the beginning of the sailing, and if any are purchased while in port, they should be stowed to be taken home.

Is there climate control in the staterooms?

Each cabin is individually equipped with a thermostat allowing you to control the temperature in your room.

How do I find out about daily activities while on board?

River Times, the vessel’s daily newsletter, will be delivered to your room each evening. This communication includes a comprehensive schedule of the next day’s activities including meal times, shore excursion departure times, port arrival time, special activities planned by the cruise staff, lectures, movies, entertainment features, and more.

Maps are available near the purser’s desk each evening for the following day’s excursions.

What is the electric power voltage on board?

Vessel accommodations are equipped with 110-volt, 60-cycle alternating current (AC) outlets. Electric razors and toothbrushes will operate from bathroom outlets. Other small appliances not exceeding 1500 watts (110 volts) may be used in room outlets. 

What is the dress code?

Attire in the main dining room is considered resort casual. This means no shorts, flip flops, or jeans. Casual attire with comfortable shoes is suggested for shore excursions.

What can travelers expect for airport arrivals?

Travelers are responsible to get themselves from the airport to the pre-cruise hotel or to the boat, if the hotel program has been declined.

What can travelers expect for airport departures?

AQV sells an airport transfer. This can be added on board or purchased ahead of time. There are transfers directly to the airport, and there may be transfers that include a tour of the disembarkation city.

Can mobile phones be used on board?

Cell phones can be utilized on board, but service is not always available and can be spotty depending on weather, location, and service provider.

Scenic FAQs

What is charged for gratuities?

All gratuities on and off the ship are included in the price of your fare, including those to ship staff, drivers, local guides, and porters.

Can mobile phones be used on board?

Are there medical services on board?

No; there are no medical facilities available on board. However, the ship is usually very close to land, and if medical attention is needed, the ship can dock for transportation to a hospital.

What is the electric power voltage on board?

Electricity on board all ships is 220V. A power plug adapter will be required to use small appliances such as electric shavers, clocks, mobile phone chargers, etc. Scenic does not provide the required adapters.

Are there laundry facilities on board?

Laundry services are available for an additional charge. There is no dry cleaning.

What amenities do all cabins have?

Each cabin is equipped with an HDTV, minibar, safe, bath amenities, and a hair dryer.

Should the provided Scenic luggage label be attached prior to departure?

No. Please wait until you have claimed your luggage at the destination airport to attach your Scenic luggage tag. This will ensure airline companies will not tear off this tag.

What passport requirements are there?

All passengers are required to have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of the trip. This is mandated by the U.S. Department of State.

What currency should guests bring?

All purchases on board are charged to your shipboard account. The onboard currency during European river cruises is the euro. Shipboard accounts may be paid in euros or by credit card. The onboard currency during Russian river cruises is the ruble; however, shipboard accounts for trips in Russia may only be paid by credit card.

The purser will be able to exchange money on board for a fee, although you may want to bring some local currency of your own.

Most European countries will use the euro, although some still have their own local currency (i.e., Scandinavia, Switzerland, Russia, and Baltic states). For small purchases ashore or in small towns, local currency is advantageous. Many locations accept major credit cards. ATMs are located on shore at some stops. Prior to departure, you should confirm your ATM card and PIN will work overseas. Most credit cards charge a fee (about 3%) for currency exchange.
