Cross the Mozambique Channel to Nosy Be, where you can visit the Black Lemur Sanctuary and see lemurs in their natural habitat. Continue cruising the Mozambique Channel and watch the deep-blue waters give way to green islands and rugged stretches of Madagascar’s coast. In Durban, set out on a wildlife drive at a private game reserve. Keep an eye out for giraffes, rhinos, hippos, and more. Cruise the Indian Ocean to Port Elizabeth. Look for dolphins and whales as you cruise to St. Croix Island from Port Elizabeth to experience the world’s largest colony of African penguins. Conclude your voyage with a day in Cape Town, where you can enjoy an intimate South African banquet in the home of a celebrated cookbook author’s family.
