Antarctica In Depth
Very few have the opportunity to set foot on the seventh continent—and even fewer do so in the unparalleled comfort of Scenic Eclipse II. This 12-night journey to Antarctica begins in the vibrant heart of Buenos Aires before a flight takes you to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, where your polar expedition begins. From there, you’ll cross the legendary Drake Passage and spend six full days exploring the pristine wilderness of the Antarctic Peninsula, where towering glaciers, sculpted icebergs, and colonies of penguins create a landscape unlike any other on Earth.
Sailing aboard Scenic Eclipse II is an experience in itself. Purpose-built for polar exploration, this state-of-the-art discovery yacht offers the highest standards of safety and comfort, with oversized stabilizers for smoother sailing, expansive observation decks for panoramic views, and a custom-designed marina for effortless Zodiac and kayak access. With just 200 guests on board, you’ll enjoy the intimacy of small-ship travel alongside 6-star amenities—Scandinavian-inspired vitality pools, a 5,920-ft2 spa, ten dining experiences, and personalized butler service in every suite. Optional excursions by helicopter^ or submersible^ offer rare perspectives of this remote region, adding to the sense of exclusivity and wonder.
This is more than a trip—it’s a bucket-list expedition to the edge of the world.
^Experiences on board helicopters and submersibles are at additional cost, subject to regulatory approval, availability, weight restrictions, medical approval, and weather and ice conditions.
