Aussies and Zealanders
Embark on a 14-night voyage aboard Oceania Cruises’ Vista, where warm greetings of “kia ora” and “g’day” welcome you into the heart of New Zealand and Australia. Experience the region’s hospitality and traditions.
Board in Auckland and begin your journey in Rotorua, where you’ll explore the bubbling pools and healing muds of Hell’s Gate Geothermal Park, a sacred site to the Maori people. In Gisborne, pedal past riverside trails and colonial landmarks before pausing for morning tea in a cozy Art Deco cafe. Bask in the sun on a beach in Napier. See movie-making history in Wellington, where The Lord of the Rings was filmed. In Picton, follow a forest trail through the lush Queen Charlotte Track or venture into the countryside in Christchurch. In Timaru, uncover the region’s ancient spirit through intricate Maori rock art etched into the city’s landscape, and in Dunedin, explore Scottish heritage. Take in the sensational sights along the Fjords of Milford Sound before crossing the Tasman Sea to Tasmania and sampling local oysters. Cruising the Bass Strait offers a chance to watch for marine life across the open water. Finally, disembark in Sydney, where the harbor shimmers beneath the white sails of the Sydney Opera House.
On board, enjoy small-ship luxury, regionally inspired dishes, hand-crafted beverages, panoramic views, and more.
