Celebrity Lecturer: Christine Brennan
Christine Brennan is an award-winning sports columnist for USA Today, a commentator for CNN, ABC News, PBS NewsHour, and NPR, and a best-selling author. She has covered the last 21 Olympic Games and was the first woman sports writer at The Miami Herald and the first woman to cover Washington’s NFL team for The Washington Post. Brennan was the first president of the Association for Women in Sports Media and started an internship program supporting over 200 female students. She has written eight books and is a member of multiple Halls of Fame, including the Northwestern University journalism and athletic halls of fame.
