Venice

Upon arrival in Venice, check in to the 4-star Hotel Papadopoli, where you’ll enjoy refined accommodations in the heart of the city. Spend your afternoon at leisure-stroll through the lively city, savor authentic Italian cuisine, or simply unwind at the hotel.

November 3

Venice

After breakfast, set out on an inspiring half-day panoramic walking tour of Venice. Visit the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, admire the historic Ca’ Foscari University, and explore the Ca’ Macana workshop to learn about traditional Venetian mask-making. Cross the Accademia Bridge for stunning canal views, stroll through Campo Santo Stefano, and enjoy an interior visit to the elegant Teatro La Fenice.

 

 

November 4

Venice

After breakfast, transfer to Insignia to embark on your cruise.

Travelers should be confident in their ability to walk and stand for up to 3-4 hours with a total of up to 2 miles per day while keeping a steady pace with a group or tour guide. This tour can involve walking on mostly uneven ground and occasionally stairs, some with no handrails. Travelers should be able to board a coach or tour bus independently. This tour is not recommended for those with a walker or wheelchair.  Must be able to enter/exit the motor launch for water taxi transfer and cross canal bridges via steps. Local customs require covering knees and shoulders when visiting religious sites.
