Drew (S’89, MS S’91, HDR’18) and Indira (MS HHS’91) Feustel are Presidential Ambassadors of Purdue University. Drew is a professional astronaut who served 23 years at NASA, flew to space three times, completed nine spacewalks, and held leadership roles including Commander of the International Space Station and acting Chief Astronaut. He now serves as Lead Astronaut at VAST, a private space company. Indira had a 27-year career as a medical speech-language pathologist and is a passionate advocate for patient care, communication, mental health, and wellness. Together, they champion Purdue’s values through their leadership, service, and dedication to the global Boilermaker community.
