Jim Douglass (’70) serves as VP for Development at the Texas Tech Alumni Association, a position he has held since 1979. A very proud Red Raider, Jim has taken his TTU Saddle Tramps experience in college and converted it to his role with the TTAA. Part of his responsibility is oversight of the Traveling Techsans program. Dr. Patti Douglass (‘85, ‘22, ‘24) is also proud of her Red Raider heritage and shares Jim’s love of travel. She is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Tech’s College of Media & Communication. Patti and Jim are both very involved as volunteers with several campus and off-campus organizations.

Please Note: To be eligible for the waiver of the pre-existing medical condition exclusion on the Travelex plan, it must be purchased within 21 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, the plan can be purchased any time prior to final payment date and is refundable up until final payment.
